League Rules
Everything you need to know about how DartCounterLeague works — format, scheduling, no-shows, postponements, and how the season ends.
DartCounterLeague Season 3 is played across two divisions:
- •Division 1 — 19 players
- •Division 2 — 23 players
The season runs from 23rd July to 1st October 2026.
Each week, every player has two fixtures against two different opponents. The full schedule follows a round-robin format, meaning you will play against every other player in your division across the season.
At the end of the regular season:
- •The bottom 4 players in Division 1 are relegated to Division 2.
- •The top 3 players in Division 2 are automatically promoted to Division 1.
- •Positions 4th to 7th in Division 2 enter a 4-way playoff to compete for the final promotion spot:
- ›Semi-finals: 4th vs 7th, and 5th vs 6th
- ›Final: winners of each semi-final
- ›The playoff winner earns the 4th and final promotion place.
Standings tiebreaker order:
- 1.Points
- 2.Legs difference
- 3.Skill rating
- 4.Games won
If your opponent fails to show up for a scheduled match, you can submit a No-Show Report.
How it works:
- •A single No-Show Report covers all of your weekly fixtures for that week — you do not need to submit separate reports for each opponent.
- •If the report is approved by an admin, both fixtures are awarded to you as a 7-0 walkover.
- •The reported player receives 1 no-show strike on their record (not 2, even though two fixtures are affected).
Strikes and consequences:
- •Accumulating multiple strikes may result in further action at admin discretion, up to and including removal from the league.
Partial play:
- •If one of your two weekly fixtures has already been played and the second is not completed, the completed result stands. The unplayed fixture is awarded as a walkover against the player who did not show up. This still counts as 1 no-show strike.
Players can request to postpone their weekly fixtures if they are unable to play.
How it works:
- •A single postponement request covers ALL of your fixtures for that week — both games are postponed together.
- •Only the requesting player uses their 1 postponement token. The opponent's token is NOT affected.
- •Each player has 1 postponement available per season — use it wisely.
Rescheduling:
- •Postponed fixtures are moved to Week 11 (the catch-up week), with a deadline of 8th October 2026.
- •There is no 7-day rescheduling window — all postponed fixtures go to Week 11.
- •If not completed by 8th October, they are automatically awarded as walkovers against the player deemed responsible.
- •Match results must be submitted by both players via the app after each game.
- •Points are awarded based on match outcomes (win/loss/draw per league settings).
- •Standings are updated automatically once results are verified.
- •All players are expected to conduct themselves with respect and sportsmanship.
- •Any disputes should be raised with an admin via the app.
- •Admin decisions on no-shows, walkovers, and disputes are final.
